Persuasive and Affective Human–AI Interaction Laboratory

A Global Laboratory for Human–AI Interaction

PAHAI Lab at Future University Hakodate conducts interdisciplinary research on persuasive and affective human–AI interaction, affective computing, embodied AI, serious games, and virtual and mixed reality.

The laboratory welcomes students and researchers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds and actively promotes international collaboration in human-centered artificial intelligence.

Research Environment

PAHAI Lab uses social robots, VR and MR headsets, physiological sensors, EEG devices, and other interactive technologies to conduct research on human–AI interaction.

Students develop interactive systems and conduct user studies using these research facilities.
